International co-operation in the fight against financial and economic crime

The international network of the FEC was widely present during the well-attended Conference of Partnerships 2022 in Amsterdam. By meeting and sharing experiences, more than 120 organizations from more than 20 countries around the world work together for the integrity of the financial market. The Netherlands is strong in (international) co-operation in tackling financial and economic crime, according to the recent FATF evaluation report of the Netherlands “A key strength of the Dutch system lies on its robust domestic co-ordination and co-operation on AML/CFT issues at both the policy and operational levels and it is a leader in public-private partnership and information sharing to combat ML/TF”.
